ACC & a Weekend in Anambra State
The main event of the week was African Connection Seminary at West Africa Theological Seminary. I presented a paper titled, “ PRACTICING MISSIONAL IN THE FACE OF POST-MODERNITY: HOW TO HIT THE TARGET WHEN THE TARGET DOES NOT EXIST.” The presentation went well and was well received by the students who had many questions after my talk. The paper will be published later next year.
The second full weekend in Nigeria included travel from Lagos to Anambra State. After a 45 minute flight and a 2 1/2 hour drive on the rugged Nigerian roads, I arrived in the city of Onitsha. The first speaking engagement was sponsored by the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria. The occasion brought together the Bishops and pastors from across Nigeria where I spoke on leadership in the church. The next day, Sunday, I preached at another local church.
